Math Trailhead owes its existence to Caleb Fishman Miller and Aisha Mandhro, who developed its initial version over a summer at Reed: gathering and organizing several hundred WeBWorK problems and building them into the PreTeXt source this site is generated from. Their work is the foundation of everything here.
Nearly every exercise in this book is drawn from the WeBWorK Open Problem Library, a freely licensed collection of tens of thousands of problems assembled over two decades. Our thanks to the people who created it, to those who maintain it, and to the many instructors who have contributed problems to it. A resource of this size was a summer’s work only because theirs came first.
